we ended things a few hours ago and i feel stuck in it. when we were together i wanted out so badly now that it’s over i feel anxious and sad.
we weren’t compatible. we haven’t been for months. but right now my mind keeps replaying only the good parts and it’s messing with me.
heartbreak is so frustrating. i’m tired of learning lessons the hard way.

this is SO fresh. honestly, i kept a note on my phone with the reasons i wanted to leave because my mind only wanted to remember the good parts. i had to remind myself there was a reason i felt trapped.
It's good to focus on every moment when it comes into your head process it and gently let it go and let the emotions come and go naturally
i found something that’s been helping me is making a list of flaws of my ex and issues with our relationship. it’s hard not to put them on a pedestal and only remember the good things.
stay strong, you’re not alone ❤️
i spent months wishing the relationship would end, then cried the second it actually did. my brain kept showing me the highlight reel and forgot all the nights i knew we weren't right.
what finally made you both decide to end it today? was there one moment, or had you both quietly known it was coming for a while?
Yep, heartbreak sucks. It'll get better, just take baby steps. You usually only remember the good parts. Think about other memories like a vacation or something. You usually do not remember the bad or hard memories, just the good and fun ones.
