Seiously considering it… we broke up on good terms, because we felt like long distance for the next couple years would be too difficult and we wouldn’t be able to handle it.
I took it very badly, haven’t been able to sleep more than 1 hour at a time and barely able to eat, I’ve lost ~20 lbs in the last two weeks.
Just heard from a mutual close friend that apparently my ex hasn’t been doing great either, apparently he “seems pretty miserable” and misses me a lot. I think we can make a LDR work, especially because we were together for 3 years before this.
Should I break NC right now?? I really don’t care about the distance, I just love him so much and truly can’t picture my life without him.

broke no contact after a breakup because i thought “if we still love each other it has to mean something” and it pulled me right back into the same loop. the love was real, but the reason we ended didn’t disappear just because the feelings were loud
I say give it more time. I think you need to take care of yourself first and if you do reach out to him and he says he still isn’t willing to do the long distance, I believe that will hurt you even more. try to focus on taking care of yourself, getting sleep, eating, and try to be in a good place in case that is the answer he gives
i know you miss him but what part of the breakup actually changed in two weeks, the distance problem is still there, or has something genuinely shifted that would make it work now?
the way your body is reacting right now sounds like it’s in full shock mode. barely sleeping, not eating, that’s a lot to carry alone
give it a little longer before you break. I feel like this could be a test towards your relationship perhaps it could bond you both and bring you closer. but you need to focus on yourself and eat being so obsessed over someone isnt healthy hun.
