My colleagues are wonderful, and they always try to give me strength. But in the end, I come home and still feel so sad.
Tonight, I woke up at 3 a.m. again in a panic because my mind and my body are processing his absence. I think that maybe I need to embrace the void and the silence for at least three days so I can truly go through it and start to process everything

i'm glad you're listening to yourself. i kept trying to stay busy so i wouldn't feel anything, and it just caught up with me at 3 a.m. too. giving myself permission to rest helped more than forcing myself to "be okay."
It’s so nice to have you co-workers backs in this. Good faith for you and the upcoming 3 days!
i took a few days off after my breakup too because i couldn't keep pretending i was fine all day, then falling apart the second i got home. those quiet days hurt, but they were the first time i let myself actually cry instead of pushing it away.
i'm so sorry you're waking up in panic like that. 💔 have you noticed if those nights are getting even a tiny bit easier, or does it still feel just as raw every time?
