There are moments when heartbreak isn’t loud. It’s the silence that gets you.
It’s waking up and realizing your phone doesn’t light up anymore. It’s reaching for someone who’s no longer there. It’s eating less because your stomach feels tied in knots. It’s lying in bed wondering how someone who was part of your everyday life could suddenly become a stranger. People tell you, “Just move on,” but they don’t see that your mind understands they’re gone while your heart and body are still trying to catch up.
If you’ve been through this, how did you get through the silence without losing yourself?

keep constantly moving dont have any moments of silence thats all I can do to not think
i'm wondering, was it the mornings or the nights that hit you the hardest once they were gone?
I think it’s mostly the mornings that hit the hardest because I’m so used to the Goodmornings texts and the calls .But at night is where I stare at the ceiling wondering what their thinking and I look back on the days when falling asleep on FaceTime and just talk about anything was a thing.
almost expecting a message that never came. the silence felt louder than any fight we ever had, and i honestly forgot who i was for a while.
I made a daily routine to follow 45 days ago. its worked and did most of the heavy lifting for me. keeps me focused on me amd my healing. I still feel emotions from the breakup. and I am in this weird stage of now that I feel like my nervouse system is finally really regulating, I started having dreams about gim this past week. but what I keep telling myself is that I always wake up sad. they arent sad dreams. but the dreams high light his nonchalant wanting to sweep it under the rug which he always did for 10 years. but I wake up sad. I tell myself that the part of waking up sad is the only take away from those dreams and setting affirmations amd interns for August to shift from waiting & restoring to building. when you stay in waiting for a return mode, the is an underlying depression that is quiet and Bible but holding me back still. im so much better. we broke up 4.5 months ago but only 45 days not contact. these past 45 days have been the best thing I could have done to begin to love me again and gain true clarity. it is hard but it is worth it. the dreams have thrown me but im so much stronger now that i know how to ne nonreactive, calm, still, sit with it for 30 min, feel ir, then release it.
still there
