my boyfriend broke up with me on Friday, july 31st, the day before national girlfriend day. a little back story before he broke up wirh me he had told me 2 different times that he wanted to break up with me before but realized that he was just having emotions and didnt mean it. eventually he realized that he wanted to be with me and we would talk it out. this time was different. I was at work he was at work. we were bickering over who was going to see who this weekend. and he said "its ok I know we dont see each other that much but we will get through this" ans then 30 minutes later he sent the message saying we hang out to much, and that we are better off apart right now. he came to get his things less rhen 24 hours later, we dated for a year and 2 months. he told me that he has no idea what his future has in store for him, what will happen or if we will meet again. he told me that he doesnt see me in the future so I asked why, or what he did see. and he said he didnt know. he said this bc he simply doesnt know abt his future or if I am in it. I do not know how to feel. he also told me before leaving that there was going to be a 60% chance that he regrets his decsion but idk if that is true either. we have both said hurtful things to eachother. please give me advice on wheather or not I should have hope for him coming back or not.

before friday, did he seem happy in the relationship or had he been pulling away for a while and just not saying it?
no we were completely fine and completely happy. we were talking abt our future that subday before and then boom. it all went downhill
he does not have the capacity to caregive u. u have to be ur own caregiver
i had an ex who kept saying "maybe" and "i don't know" right until the end, and those little bits of hope kept me stuck way longer than the breakup itself. that 60% comment would've had me replaying every conversation too.
He sounds very lost and confused. And possibly cheated on you. Just from personal experience I can say that relationships with people that break up and get back together multiple times dont usually last. But it's up to you
