I’m finding that whenever I even have an inch of free time i’m sitting thinking about him. I’ve used endless things to try and distract myself, but I find even while i’m doing those things i’m thinking about him. I have sat with myself, have journaled, I’m just kinda lost and looking for anyone else’s input on how they were able to manage the feeling in your stomach when you think about them

for me, I take walks or hikes and bring my journal with me. when a memory does pop up, I smile and I write it down and reflect on how I felt in that moment. I think about him everyday but writing truly does help process all the emotions
the thoughts were going to show up anyway, then doing one small thing i could actually finish. a walk, making tea, folding laundry. tiny wins gave my brain somewhere else to land.
I was super nervous for like 2 months. The first time i felt okay was when i was dancing and not caring about how I dance or anything else in this planet. meditation worked a bit. Also talking to my other friend and hearing their breakup story which is way worth than mine. Try to talk to people friends and be more social.
is it the memories that keep pulling you in, or is it wondering what he's doing now? i found those were two very different kinds of anxiety for me.
i had to fill every quiet second because the second i stopped, my brain went straight back to him. honestly, i don't think i stopped thinking about him overnight, i just got better at letting the thoughts pass without chasing every single one.
I also find it difficult when memories creep in. I don't know how to redirect my thoughts.
I play games online
puzzles help me
the only thing that helped me ease the anxiety was to go for a long walk. If that is not possible, anything that makes you move your body
I need the same help!! 😭
