Why i said no to my ex-wife after cheating

Author

my ex-wife cheated on me with another guy he rejected her and then she tried coming back to me and I told her no and now she's with her ex-husband. it's been 3 months 94 days of no contact the divorce has been final and for 94 days we were separated back in January

January 20th even though I filed for divorce I face pain daily.
sometimes I just wake up with that feeling in my throat like I'm going to cry and it lasts all day and sometimes it'll even last week's.

today I was spiraling and my friend Matt came over to visit and we had a great long talk discussion about things like that... about betrayal and about lonliness...and about you know, life in general and and how you need to just find the right attitude to get by with.

it made me feel a lot better.

I've been isolating myself a lot and it made me realize that I shouldn't be doing that.

Betrayal is One Of the Painfull things. but My advice To you is dont make her problem your problem. just detach and Enjoy life it is her and Her greediness not you. everyone Has responsibilities and Everyone will be accounted for. rebuild your life and Make the Come back Quicker

problem still is that I miss her. I miss us. and it stings. I've just gotta get through work then I can go home and go directly to bed so I don't have to think about it anymore

today I'm trying to tell myself that it doesn't matter. it doesn't matter what her thoughts are. for months I've been in a loop of hoping she misses me and thinks of the good times we had. asking AI if she might be feeling anything at all. I realized today that it doesn't matter anymore. if it did she would reach out. I've gotta come to terms with that. it just doesn't matter anymore and I'm on the verge of tears writing it.

i'm really glad matt came over. i've isolated myself after heartbreak too, and every day alone made the thoughts louder. even one honest conversation can break that cycle a little.

He‘s a married guy and I felt attached to him which scared me. I don’t want to be in a relationship with no future so I blocked him on Everything to move on but not to make him come back. I only look for commited men

i keep thinking about the part where you said you realized you shouldn't be isolating yourself. do you think having more people around you right now would make these bad days feel a little less heavy?

i had mornings where i'd wake up already hurting and have no clue how i was supposed to get through the day. talking to someone who actually knew what i was going through helped more than i expected.
