Should i delete their photos?

Author

I need advice from people who are doing no contact longer then I have , do I delete the pics, is it making it worse , when I see them , I cry and think , what if? and I miss him , but i feel like deleting them is deleting a chapter of my life , of us , and maybe what if he does come back and I dont have them , or what if he doesn't and I forget his face

Download ente photos and create an account (which is pretty easy) and then you'll have 10gb free storage for the photos and videos of him and you. It's important to not look at them as this'll make it much harder to move on. Then after uploading on ente you might wanna delete them from your main gallery.

I'm actually on the same journey too, i have stored my 6000 plus photos and videos of her and me during our 2.5 years relationship and honestly it fcking hurts alot. Once i tried to delete them but my hands began to tremble and i was unable to delete them.

would keeping them somewhere hidden give you some peace, or do you think you’d still go looking for them when you miss him?

You don’t need any apps all you can do is place photos to hidden in your gallery, this is what I done so I don’t have to look at them unless I go there and my gallery is now clear like a new start
I think if you think about it as a chapter in your book has ended but to have a memory is always satisfying

I put them all in a hidden folder on my phone.

i didn’t delete mine at first, i moved them somewhere i couldn’t casually see them. that helped me miss the person without constantly staring at proof of what i lost.

i kept every photo because deleting them felt like erasing us, but every time i looked i ended up crying and reopening the same wound.

do your best to not look at the pics. you'll want those later possibly, when you look back at this time and want to show or see what you were doing.

hang in there, I know it's not easy. you will eventually get to a place of acceptance and it will be easier to look at those pictures. they likely have lots of good memories, you don't want to throw those away.
