my ex says he’s “over me” but keeps talking about me and even posted a whole video about me saying that i’m so annoying because i’m “spreading lies” when all i’m doing is telling people what truly happened, and i’m lying? yeah ok bro. and apparently i ruined his chance with this girl he really liked when i didn’t even do anything. she didn’t want to talk to him anymore because she felt like he was using her to get over me, but it’s my fault right? i’m so done trying to explain myself, he’s always going to see himself as the victim who never did anything wrong. it’s barely been a month bro.

i'd stop trying to convince him of what happened. i spent WAY too long defending myself to someone who had already decided i was the villain, and it just kept me tied to him.
this sounds exhausting, especially this soon after the breakup. do you think part of you is still hoping he'll eventually admit what actually happened?
