i've been where you are, and what helped me was accepting that i couldn't chase someone who had chosen to close the door. i still loved him, i just stopped making contact my job.

when you say you want to fix things, do you miss him as he is now, or are you missing the relationship and the person he was before everything fell apart?

i know this kind of missing. i remember staring at my phone after my ex blocked me, wanting just ONE chance to explain everything and make it right. it hurt like hell.

just remember, you don't have to force yourself into feeling something or looking at it any differently. Give yourself time, cut yourself a little slack.
