He came back
He messaged me after 2 weeks of no contact. We were supposed to have no contact for 2 months until my birthday. But he broke the silence earlier. He told me he was coming to my town and wanted to throw me a birthday party for my birthday, he called this party by the nickname he gave me when we were still in a relationship. He had already arranged everything for this party. I know he was trying to get back into the relationship as a friend, but I don't know what to think of it. I have mixed feelings about his return, I'm a bit more distant. But I don't know if I should go to this party or not. Besides, he even took a day off to be able to show up for my birthday and organize it all. And that takes a lot of time, because at the moment he is in Paris. ( I live in another country) So the trip requires a lot of time and money from him just to show up at my place on that day. But honestly, I don't really know what to do with all of this. He's coming to my town next week to visit a friend, but I suspect he'll want to meet up with me then. I don't know if I can be a friend to him, nor if he actually wants to be that friend, or if it's just a momentary thing.

I think that's exactly what I'll do. If he really cares about me, he won't be able to be just a friend to me. At least that's how I feel about him, because the emotions are too strong. Although recently it has expire and are not so intense
