Why can't i move on after 149 days?

Author

I try everyday to move on
it’s been 149 days since we broke up
it’s been 129 days since he got a new girlfriend and I blocked him
it’s been 115 days since he gave her the teddy bear i got him for his bday
it’s been 45 days since she broke up with him
he misses her.
she’s blonde, blue eyes, short, beautiful, skinny, year older than him
I’m brunette, brown eyes, tall, not all that and lil chubby, year younger
she is very like me personally
js like a better version
they were friends a year longer then us
I wonder if he were just bored
his life weren’t entertaining enough so he had to play a girl
I don’t even know if he tried to play me
it just happend
I told him I really struggle with saying I love you, so he waited to say it until I did.
he used to call me when I werent feeling well, í have depression so thats a lot
he used to call me every compliment ever so I would feel pretty to
he watched Harry Potter with me because I told him I loved it
he came to my house every Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday when he werent with his family
he stole my hairties and wore them all the time
he used to hold me tight and kiss my nose and tell me im beautiful when ever I were to focused
he played with legos with my little brother
he shoocked my grandparents hands
and he kept me a secret.
he said we couldn’t be public because of his family.
I should have known better
he didn’t keep his new girl private
he bragged about her
he bragged about the ex before me too
I were the problem
I’m so stupid
I dunno why im even writing here

i’ve been that girl comparing herself to the new girlfriend and picking apart every little difference. i remember feeling like she had everything i didn’t, but honestly, i was grieving the way my ex made me feel too, not just him.

there's no other better version of you! each person is unique. and you're the real thing :) I'm sure that, at some point, you'll find someone else who does all of those things for you, but better - in a way that will be peaceful for you.
