i feel like there’s more behind this. when you asked him not to contact his ex, had he already given you reasons to feel like something was going on between them?
i don’t think you were wrong for feeling angry about him stalking his ex or wanting reassurance when he disappeared.
i used to question myself for being “too much” when i was really just reacting to things that made me feel unsafe, and hearing my ex tell people about me like that hurt so damn much.
