i know this sounds really horrible but am I valid/is it okay to really hope my ex-gf and her new bf breakup i wouldn't be saying this if it took her 4+ months to date but its the fact she moved on a month or 2 later and claimed to be lesbian for years and now shes dating a man.. it took her 4 years to move on from her first gf to me and now its took only 1 or 2 months for her to move on from me. I know this may sound horrible but is it okay/valid to hope they breakup and don't last?

i think you’re allowed to feel that way, honestly. i just stopped feeding those thoughts because checking whether they were still together kept me tied to my ex way longer than i wanted to be.
does it hurt more that she’s with someone new so soon, or that she’s with a man after identifying as lesbian for so long?
both however it's mainly being with a man after identifying as a lesbian for years and years i dont think I would be like this/too much like this if she was with a woman
my ex started seeing someone really quickly and i hated how easily it looked like she replaced me, while i was still waking up thinking about her. i had some ugly thoughts too, and it didn’t make me a monster.

no girl your absolutely not a horrible person! everyone feels this way after a breakup! it’s been a few months since mine and I still feel like this. this is 100% a normal thing to feel.

yeah i can totally get you girl its very normal to hope this when you miss someone BUT if she loved you she wouldnt move on that fast OR she just wanted to get distracted from break up so we cant read her mind but thats completely normal

@CozySoul437 I know shes happy with this man i mean it looks like it but it just weirds me out bc shes technically freshly 18 (turned 18 in the end of May) while he's 23 i just wish she would've dated someone up to 20 at least not any older...
