we broke up 14 days ago and since this friday i was seeing us together happily in my dreams. you all know the classic dreams you saw when you broke up. Like a text popping up on your phone saying "lets get back together i miss you" and then you will wake up and see there is no notification or you two get along well just as in the past. i was seeing this kind of dreams until friday.
on friday i woke up with a terrible heart ache because of that. let me tell you the dream. i was texting with his friend and she always keeps saying "are you okay" and i was like "yeah but why". and when i look at my notifications i saw him. i was really confused i dont know why. and when i open his dm i saw texts like "oh fuck you. you dont deserve anything good. i hate you. i hope you will never be happy. our relationship was just ridiculous. you cheated on me. please k*ll yourself. it was a mistake to talk to you from the very beginning.even wanting us to be together again is a mistake.". i was like shocked i get up from that dream and i hadnt been able to pull myself together. my heart was beating so much.
and from that day i havent seen him in my dreams.i feel like i lose the connection with him and he hates me in real life too. can you all please help?

before that dream, did you feel like the dreams were keeping you connected to him somehow, and now you're scared that losing the dreams means you've lost him too?
yeah thats exactly how i felt
i've learned not to treat dreams like messages from my ex. my brain used to turn every dream into proof that he missed me, hated me, or was moving on, and i got so much worse when i started believing every one of them.
but since that dream he never visited my dreams and i miss him so much
i can imagine how terrifying that must’ve been to wake up from. i had breakup dreams where my ex came back, then one night everything flipped and he hated me in the dream, and i woke up feeling like i'd actually lost him all over again.
i feel same and the weird thing is he never visited my dreams after that hate dream
