i’ve forgiven an ex and still kept my distance after. forgiveness gave me some peace, but i learned i didn’t have to reopen the relationship just because i had let go of the anger.
i’ve broken no contact too, and i remember that rush of wanting to say one last thing because i needed the hurt to feel finished. sometimes sending that message feels like closing a door, even when you’re still standing in the doorway.
if that’s something you needed to do, then it’s completely okay 🤍 everybody heals differently and i believe, that saying something just for you to feel better is worth it.
