Why am i posting stories for him?

i’ve done this too, posting little things hoping my ex would notice, and then checking who viewed it like my whole mood depended on that one name. when they didn’t even look, it hurt way more than i wanted to admit.

i had to stop posting for my ex because every story became a tiny test of whether they still cared. once i stopped checking for his attention, social media got a lot quieter in my head.

when you post those stories for him, are you hoping he’ll come back, or do you just want to know he still thinks about you?
