Why do i feel anxious seeing my ex move on?

Author

I see her playing badminton with another boy, her new best friend., I know he is just her best friend only . but my anxiety goes up by seeing them , how to deal with this , I got pannic attacks sometimes at night thinking about her and how she move on so easily..
and I think she is doing this intentionally, she talks to his new best friend and play with him in front of me .

because she is my neighbour. I can't ignore them ..

you can’t just disappear and avoid seeing her, do you think the hardest part is actually seeing her with him, or the thoughts your mind creates about what it means?

i had to stop trying to figure out whether my ex was doing things intentionally, because i could never know for sure and my mind kept choosing the most painful answer.

seeing my ex with someone else could make my whole body go into panic before my brain even caught up. i used to read every little interaction as a message meant for me, and damn, that made being around them feel impossible

she probably doing that on purpose but even if it's not, u better stay calm and don't give her a sign that you're still affected on it. even if it's just a small thing. cus then you're not sure if she's doing this to cope or maybe doing it to see your reaction, so i'd suggest u to focus more on yourself. just let it hurt until it doesn't anymore. it takes time.

But I showed her once a few days ago that I am affected… so if I act like I’m not affected now, will she believe now that I’m not affected anymore??

who knows? but as u said, u showed her a few days ago that you're affected so she knows that. but u don't have to keep proving whether u are or aren't. if u react diff now, she might just think you're trying to hide it or she might actually think you're finally moving on and just let things be. either way, u can't really control what she thinks. just let your actions now speak for themselves and give yourself time to actually get to the point where it doesn't affect u as much

just if ever she's doing this on purpose, she's prolly just waiting for a reaction from u. if it hurts then let it hurt. cry if u need to, go out, cry to your boys or wtv helps u get it out. just don't give her a reason to feed her ego. people like that won't feel the need to chase u if they know they still have some kind of hold on u. every time u show her that it still hurts, you're basically reassuring her that she still affects u.
