Hey everyone! So, I think many of you may be going through or have gone through the same thing.
He was the one who wanted to break up with me because he "wanted to focus on his career," he's the one who stopped doing the bare minimum for me.
But even so, I'm hesitant to block him, worried that in two months he might regret it and want to start all over again.

you think you’re keeping him unblocked because you want him back, or because you’re scared of finding out he never comes back?
I definitely want him back, but I want him back from when he was good and cared about me.
But I just found out today that he blocked me first.
i know that fear of blocking him and then wondering “what if he comes back?” honestly, blocking helped me stop living around a possibility that wasn’t actually happening. i needed the silence more than i needed access to him.
He blocked me first, so now I have to definitively accept that I'll never have him again.
my ex said he needed to focus on his career too, and i spent weeks leaving the door cracked open in case he changed his mind. that waiting hurt almost as much as the breakup.
this feels like a very fresh wound, you have to sit back and think what you want yourself. if you try too much to cater to someone that isn't going to do the bare minimum you're just going to burn yourself out. if you still care about him and still want to be there for him you can leave the door cracked but not open. and if he does happen to regret it and want to come back that doesn't mean he would be ready to, and the last thing you would want is the cycle to start again.
except mine did broke up with me because he wants to be a millionaire or whatever and he was scared he will waste my time
But wouldn't he be "wasting our time" if he tried to be a better person or had genuine intentions?
well it's the same for me so I understand. it's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for him
