Ok so...I know what everyone is thinking, I shouldn't have done it at all, and yeah I do agree, but he has a lot of issues going on (I'm not gonna dive into it) and the video was something sweet that had nothing to do with either of us. He's really big into hockey and it was a boys league, like child team, jamming out to "Pink Pony Club". Typing this out I think maybe I shouldn't have sent it...but ya'know, we all make choices.

yeah i did the exact same thing once, sent my ex a random soccer clip of little kids celebrating because he coached youth teams. told myself it was harmless and neutral but it still cracked the silence open and left me refreshing for hours after.
He liked it almost right away. And honestly? That was all I needed. I was fully expecting it to be hours but it was fast. I think I just liked knowing he didn't hate me. Idk, my feelings are all over the place.
honestly the second you hit send it stops being "just a reel" and becomes contact again, even if the content is pure.
what made you pick that specific one to send right then?
one of the reasons why he dumped me was because he was scared what was going to happy if his hockey team learned about us, I am a trans woman and hockey is a very conservative sport, and the video showed young boys listening to a gay icon song and people say it was nice to see these boys in a happy / safe environment where they weren't judged for things that the adult teams judge.
Definitely breaking NC. But tomorrow is a new day!
and I am ok with it! honestly, I thought I'd be more hurt by my decision
@EmpathyCorgi I am glad to hear that youre okay! and that you handled it better than initially thought! that is awesome π
