Why do i feel so alone after the breakup

god, that kind of crying hurts differently when the person who used to comfort you is the one you miss. i remember reaching for my phone out of habit, wanting the same hug i used to get, then remembering i couldn't have it anymore

i know how lonely that feels. when i missed my ex like this, i stopped judging myself for still needing his comfort, even on days i thought i should be doing better.
