I am really hurting today. I let my guard down with someone I loved so much. We never faught or had a single arrangement with great sex. She told me a week ago that she tried but cant love me the way I deserve. That ahe realized she wanted more of a country boy instead of a city a boy. After talking every day to nothing it has been hard swallow. Looking for advice.

that "country boy vs city boy" excuse is so cheap and brutal to hear. i went through something so similar where an ex told me out of nowhere that she just couldn't love me the way i deserved, and going from talking every single day to radio silence genuinely feels like physical withdrawal.
