i just came to know something from my bf’s friend and he made me swear not to tell anyone. Two weeks ago(the time he started acting weird) my dad called him begging him to leave me coz he only have a daughter and he wants the best..i came to know about it only today..my godddd! i really don’t know if i have to call him or stay this wayyy

oh wow, my jaw literally dropped reading this. i had an ex who cut things off after my family got involved behind my back, and that whole feeling of your life being decided in secret phone calls by people you love is completely suffocating. you are in absolute shock right now, and it makes total sense that your head is spinning trying to figure out what to do next.
when something similar blew up was taking a beat to breathe before acting, then telling him directly that i knew about the call. you both deserve a real conversation without parents or middleman friends pulling the strings behind the scenes.

how fortunate you are to have a father to plead on your behalf. he must really be treating you unkindly if your father felt the need to intervene in this way. it’s hard to tell someone to stay away, cause we aren’t done until we’re done. I just hope you don’t lose too much in that time frame. please take care of yourself.

gurl u should follow what ur dad said he knows u best his love for u is unconditional leaving the man would be hard but trust me u should trust ur dad’s judgement
