there's a there's a weird dichotomy and being divorced. get on apps like this and total strangers seem to have more empathy and understanding than your friends and family. not that they don't have that it's just after a while they get sick of hearing your s***. I'm glad I have this place to vent.

sometimes a stranger listening without judgment means EVERYTHING.
i found it easier to talk to people who weren't waiting for me to be okay already. healing took longer than everyone else's patience, and i had to stop feeling guilty for that.
do you feel like you hold back with your friends and family now because you're worried they'll think you should be over it by this point?
