Why am i still struggling 146 days after no contact?

Author

it's been 145 days since the divorce was final. it's been 146 days of no contact on both sides.
some days I'm okay, some days I'm still not. part of me is screaming out for her. most of me just wants to go to sleep. I wish I could find the words that are "in the way" sometimes. those would make all the difference. I'd reach out if I thought it would change things. it won't. :(

are you still surrounded by things that remind you of her at home, or have you been able to clear out some of that shared space?

so a lot of the furniture is the same I really can't go nowhere I can't get rid of all the stuff. but yeah but yeah it's hard. she actually moved on she cheated on me with a dude and then he dumped her and then she went back with her ex-husband before trying to get back with me. so it's a messy situation that's left my emotions completely destroyed.

those nights when I just wanted to sleep forever was giving myself permission to stop searching for the perfect words, because accepting that there was no magic phrase to fix us was the only thing that let my mind finally rest.

standing back while 146 days tick by and wanting to reach out so BADly, but knowing deep down that no words will change the outcome is a whole different level of torture
