Why can't i stop thinking about her every morning?

my ex hurt me in ways i never thought i’d forgive, but she was still the first person on my mind every morning. my heart took so much longer to catch up with what she’d done

i used to get mad at myself for missing someone who betrayed me.

you wake up missing her, do you miss who she really was to you, or do you miss how things felt before she betrayed you?

I miss how our life was before she betrayed me. that doesn't change how it made me feel though I'm sad. I know she turned into someone that I don't know anymore. and more complete strangers now.
