How i finally moved on but still feel the pain

i was finally over my ex, but my heart still hurt when i thought about everything we had. healing is weird like that, your mind gets there before your heart does sometimes.

being over someone doesn't mean the hurt disappears overnight. i stopped being so hard on myself for still having sore days, even when i knew i didn't want her back.
