i know that must've felt unsettling, especially after a whole month of no contact. did you wake up missing him, or was it more the fear of being cheated on all over again
i've learned that a dream like that doesn't mean i've gone backwards. sometimes i just have to let the feeling pass without turning it into a sign that i still want her back.
i've had dreams like this about my ex months after we stopped talking, and i'd wake up with that same awful feeling all over again. it's so unfair when your own brain brings the hurt back when you thought you were finally doing okay.
