i had to stop checking my phone for a while because every time there was nothing, it hurt all over again. i still missed him, but i was tired of letting those little notifications decide how my day felt.
i used to open instagram without even thinking, hoping he'd sent me something, and the quiet after hours of talking felt SO loud
exactly. it was just depressing not seeing anything from her
you might wanna be away from social media for a while… mine also said the same thing to keep on talking and being friends. but realistically, we ended on his terms and I’m the one who still love him. So, I know that texting him will only get my hopes up of him coming back to me while he moves on with a softer landing. I told him that yes I still wanna be friends but I need some time to properly heal myself before that. And I deactivated my instagram so I won’t keep on checking his account and reread old messages.
I feel that. I struggle with letting go right now is the thing. We ended on her terms too due to religious reasons. (She’s like a die-hard Christian, I was agnostic) I really want to talk to someone about it
