I'm very open about being lesbian to like everyone i meet and im currently on call with one of my boy best mates and his mates have chatted in a gc saying I'm lesbian and he keeps saying things like "if we were to date......" "if me and you were dating...." etc im just tired of it ive made it very obvious and so have my classmates theyve made it clear im lesbian too. it just feels like he's trying to make me "turn straight" which will never happen

i’d be straight up with him that those comments are making me uncomfortable, and if he keeps doing it, i’d take some distance. being your best mate doesn’t give him a free pass to make you feel like your sexuality is up for debate.
that would make me so uncomfortable too 😭 i’ve had people treat my sexuality like it was some kind of challenge, and it’s exhausting having to make something so personal clear over and over. you deserve friends who respect what you’ve already told them.
