she cheated on me, and I found out that yesterday, i knew something was off , but i loved her, did everything for her, inwas there for her in darkest of her places and now she found someone who probably is better looking than me and is more rich , and now I feel like a total fool giving my heart to someone . hell when I was with her i didn't even saw other women cause i respected her and loved her too much.
sometimes loving too much is harmfull, at least that's what I'm seeing right now.
I was really great in my studies, I was a topper of my class , and was great in everything until I met her , and now it's all fcked up, failed in 3 exams consecutively and wasted a whole damn year on nothing , just nothing. for someone like me , and the way i have been all my life, being a high achiever sort of thing it's like unbelievable to just exist. please help me

don't think about someone else being "better" than you, you claim he may be richer, but that pretty much doesn't matter, you're richer than him in your heart. The way you feel so down clearly proves how much you loved her, she will NEVER find that in him, she made a terrible mistake, she's the one who lost everything here.
I know it may sound like some reassurance you would say to everyone, bur trust me, you are more than you think. As you said, you are a topper, your studies are doing great, you have a powerful heart, and you have plenty of others qualities. Someone giving up on you shouldn't be the reason you give up on yourself.
try to focus on making out the best of you, get back to studying while listening to happy music (try what you know, adventure of a lifetime, better days, happy, feels... trust me, music is A LOT), avoid everything that makes you think of her too much, you can't force yourself to stop thinking (it's been 3 weeks since the breakup for me and I still think about her lol) but you can help the healing process (delete your pictures for example), hit the gym, or start by doing pushups in your room, settle a goal : 20 every morning and every evening, then more and more ! Try to discover new art that suits you, painting, drawing etc...
I believe you will do it. You are an amazing person that deserves so many good things. It will get better.

I did this in my relationship too. I gave more than I could afford to give to please her and abandoned myself in the process and she took the one thing from me I value most- community. You deserve your love and loyalty more that anyone, but it's okay if you have to learn this the hard way sometimes

We all make this mistake but the important thing is to learn from it. Do not ever put any woman above your purpose and your goals. It might take awhile but once you do that they will always leave. Instead find women who are excited about joining you on your path.
