Hi guys! when my ex left me he gave me a letter and I thought I Will do the same and I think I feel better writing this so I wanted to share this with you. I'm gonna send this today to his house:

I don’t want to disturb your peace by writing this letter. If that is your wish, stop reading here.
A part of me still resents you, but it’s impossible for me to hate you. My last memory is heavy, but we can’t pretend everything comes down to that alone.
One of my only regrets is having tried to give love to someone who never learned how to fully love themselves.
Maybe if that had been the case, you wouldn’t have placed all your weight on me.
You had managed to overcome your pain, but it seems you lost all sense of sensitivity and empathy along the way.
I truly hope you find that balance again, and that it gives you the time to take care of yourself, every day.
I also hope that… her flowers will be even more beautiful than the ones I received, that your efforts will seem as grand to her as the buildings you used to admire on street corners. I hope you’ll know how to listen when she’s hurting, and that you’ll never leave her alone when she cries. I hope you’ll tell her, “We can talk about it, it’ll be okay, I promise,” and that you won’t let your emotions take over as much as they did.
I wanted to offer you an eternal star, to guide us even in complete darkness. You gave me a shooting star, but you didn’t know how to protect its light.
