realizing i could care about him and still start caring about myself too. i didn't have to stop loving him first, i just had to stop putting my own pain behind his.
Concentrate on yourself. Do things that make you happy. I understand you still care about this person but at the end of the day, if he wanted to be in your life he would be.
when you think about him being okay, do you feel responsible for his happiness somehow?
after my breakup i spent months worrying about whether he was eating, sleeping, coping, all while completely ignoring how broken i was. it's such a strange kind of heartbreak when your concern for them survives longer than their place in your life.
start making yourself so busy you cant think about them. get back into old hobbies, watch a TV show. I started going to the gym again and feel great.
it takes time. Just try to delete all contact wirh them.
it would be so much easier if I hated him
it takes time honey, because that's all I could think about when he stopped talking to me but I feel a little better each day, especially because I know he doesn't care if I'm ok or not.
