i still think of him everyday but i dont long for him anymore. its just “muscle memory”, i feel at peace and i can imagine a future without them. Its been 6months
my first love stayed in my head for years after we ended, and for a long time i thought that meant i'd never move on. eventually the memories stayed, but they stopped running my life.
i didn't need to erase him to move forward. i stopped measuring every new person against my first love, and that made a huge difference.
how long has it been for you? are you missing them specifically, or missing how it felt to experience that kind of love for the first time
idk i cant say for everyone but I never got over my first love..
same man. its been over a year. lots of ppl wanted me. i tried but eventually felt like im leading them on. felt like a villain. anyway he cant get over me i cant get over him but we just cant be together
