it’s been 8 weeks of no contact. last night i noticed he unfollowed my “spam” instagram account. it definitely hurt for a few minutes. i’m mostly just confused why he unfollowed that account but still follows my main instagram and my fitness page? why not just rip the band aid off and unfollow all of it?
idk ive found myself stuck in false hope for so long now that maybe on the future we will be able to reconnect but i think this just proves that he doesn’t want me in his life anymore. it’s just frustrating that he will remain following the other accounts. (i know i could remove him but i don’t want to do that we ended on good terms and a deep part of me wants to get back together)

that social media moves don't always have a deeper meaning. i had to stop treating every follow or unfollow like a message about us because it kept feeding my hope more than my healing.
my ex unfollowed one account but kept following another, and i spent DAYS trying to figure out what it meant. i don't think i ever found an answer that actually brought me peace.
has he done anything outside of social media in these 8 weeks that made you think he wanted to reconnect, or is the hope mostly coming from trying to read these little online changes?

I think you both are expectign a text from each other and both aren't texting, did you really try to give it a try a final shot? he's not unfollowing all because he's also tryign to move on and heal, things will take time. slowly he will unfollow everything.or msyeb he's talkignto a new girl and there be reaosn to follow your normal accoutn becaue many ppl folow fitness people, but soam account looks sus so that's that. only hek nows why he did one and not other. the more you think the more you'll end up scratcing yoru head. my advice. don't care, or if you really do, try it for one last time
because there might be a say when they block you,, and it will hurt liek he'll. don't give them the opportunity or chsnce to make that move. fold your cards and get up form thr game table.
