He asked me to go to the bar with him. I told him I'm sick which is why I couldn't go to work. He said OK and proceed to go bar hopping without asking what was wrong etc. Just...sad

i was paying attention to actions instead of hoping the concern would suddenly show up one day. it saved me a lot of extra heartbreak.

i've been with someone who stopped asking if i was okay, and somehow that silence hurt more than the arguments. you deserve someone who cares when you're sick.
