it’s been 47 days and today was one of the worst ones I’ve had. I feel like I’m dying inside, the pain is overwhelming.
I don’t know how to stop looping in my mind and checking reddits and other no contact posts. I want to let go and let go of the hope of us finding our way back to each other and stop the addictive loop but I really don’t know how.
I’ve never felt heartbreak like this in my life before, I really thought this was going to be the man I marry. now I’m turning 30 in a month and I feel the most lost I’ve ever been.

same here! I believe it is a normal thing when you are on the way to recovery from the break up so feeling have fluctuations for some time. I do understand you I also thought he is the man of my life I was so attached to believing that! but he was not And I did not want to see the reality but I finally faced it and it still hurts alot after 3 months! I am still grieving over it and sometimes miss the relationship but I reassure myself that I had no other choice as it was not the right partner for me nothing was working I lost myself and was the one who tried to the last minute but he was avoidant.I really hope you can heal speedy and love yourself and always choose you as the first person of your life. 😊
I'm sorry you feel this way I'm just fresh into my seperation and it hurts more then anything but remember your not alone is this my friend
day 47 was brutal for me too
why do you think that is? it feels like a big dip compared to how it has been previously
around that point i was doing the same thing, reading breakup posts for hours because i kept hoping one would tell me my story would end differently. turning 30 made me panic too.
how did you handle it all? do you feel like it’s better now?
It is hard! I am 35 ! and I worry alot too. I was in a wrong relationship for 10 years! I could not let go! and lost my good years. I was so loyal and had a belief he is the man of my life I lost him at the e d by breaking up but Found myself which is what we should keep focusing on to make abetter version of oueselves to attract the right relationship! let yourself feel all emotions until you recover. life has more for you😊
I firmy believe that you will be okay. It can be really hard, but it passes. You managed to do it for 47 days, that is impressing (I have only 5 so on, but I am hopeful the pain will mend itself over time, but it is hard to accept I have lost her)
thank you, yeah I was so firm both times not to reach out, but he kept reaching out so I think a part of me was hoping he would this time too. I think part of the panic is realising he might never do that.
has something happened today that cracked everything back open, or did the grief just slam into you out of nowhere?
I did see his name in discord by accident from my inbox searching for other people, I think that triggered it a bit. But I did experience this a bit before that too, it just made me spiral more. I think it’s because he has always reached out previously and now it feels more real that we might never speak again.
Milestones can be triggering. its understandable.
I wish there was an easy solution.
im 4 months post breakup and I still have hard days time to time
how are you handling it? do you feel like you have acceptence towards the situation?
@SweetVibe291 I do have the acceptance part. when I hard days are soon me, I listen to podcasts casts about how to break trauma bond or how to recover after narcissistic abuse. I also like to remind myself what he lost vs what I lost. the loss is truly on him and I know that. I know that he took the cowards way.
