I was doing so good for a couple of weeks, and then I relapsed. I saw him again and we ended up kissing. Kind of disappointed in myself for not resisting. But it's so hard when we left on such weird terms. The guy was everything I could want in a person. It's just our lives are not made for each other right now. I think that's one of the hardest ways to break up with a person. Because it's not that he was a terrible person and It's not that he hurt me. We just don't work right now. And sometimes my brain just doesn't know how to work with that. There's no structure to it. It's just ended I guess unofficially.

seeing my ex after weeks of doing okay and feeling like i lost all my progress in one night. that pull is so strong when there was still love there.
i used to be so hard on myself after slipping up, but i learned that one moment doesn’t erase all the days i chose myself. sometimes the hardest goodbyes are the ones where nobody was the villain.
Try not to be hard on yourself, be king to yourself and give yourself grace these things can be hard , just need to get back on the horrse and keep pushing forward
If you guys didn’t end on “good terms” or whatever people like to call it. I can see why that could happen. There’s probably a lot of unresolved feelings, and then things happen. You can’t blame yourself for still having feelings, those don’t just go away.
I think the biggest thing I noticed is your self awareness, which is good. You’re able to put words to why it doesn’t work right now, and that’s actually big.
The best thing I think you can do now, is focus on yourself. Don’t knock yourself for what happened. We’re all just humans, and sometimes things happen.
when you kissed him again, did it feel like you both wanted to try again, or did it feel more like missing the comfort of what you had? i’ve been stuck in that confusing middle before
