when i realized i could count the painful days way easier than the happy ones, that truth hurt like hell. i kept missing the person and forgetting how much i was hurting.
When I look back now that the rose colored glasses are off I see that as well. In January of this year we had a miscarriage and he left me to handle everything myself. No hugs or cuddles or even a hey do you need anything. I still loved him anyways and kept trying but he ended up publicly replacing me in April without even a conversation.
that is such good noticing. I hope you give yourself space to grieve and that you tell yourself all the ways you deserve and long to feel in relationship

i stayed way too long because the few good moments made me think the rest was worth it, even when i was miserable most of the time.

you look back now, what do you think kept you there through all those painful days?
