Hi I just got out of a relationship which I thought was going to be the person I would be with forever just because they weren’t like anyone else. I’m trying the no contact method to see if things will change because she made it very clear that things weren’t but is that actually true. I know I did some things wrong and I wanted to change but before I could she became avoidant following a text saying we don’t work. The worst part is she was my best friend and the only person I could actually talk to about literally anything and I don’t know what I will do if I loose her for good and never see or speak to her again. What is likely in this situation please let me know.

losing the person who was your best friend at the same time as losing the relationship feels brutal, especially when your brain keeps replaying every way you could've done things differently.
yeah and now they sent a voice note from a friends phone screaming I hate you I hate you I hate you while she’s drunk. yeah she’s not coming back
i remember wondering the exact same thing, like maybe the breakup wasn't really final and she'd change her mind if i gave her enough time. has she said she wants space, or has she completely closed the door on talking again?
she said that there won’t be a next time so I think she doesn’t want it anymore. It’s confusing because it was going so well then all of a sudden it changed to nothing.
some of our anxiety is caused by lack of control over situations, hence, there is no real or correct way to answer your question. We just have to wait to see what the future holds. There is no certainty in this life, only death, so its important that we remain curious instead of overly analysing every situation.
If you know you did some things wrong, its best that you do some work on why you do the things you did so you dont repeat them in future relationships. No contact helps with this journey because instead of focusing on them, you focus on you
