Maybe the hardest part isn't losing the person.
It's losing the answers.
You replay the conversations, question every detail, and wonder:
What did I do wrong?
Was I not enough?
Did they ever really love me?
What if I had done something differently?
Your mind keeps searching because it wants an ending that makes sense.
But sometimes, closure isn't something they can give you.
Sometimes, you have to give it to yourself.
The love was real.
The memories were real.
The pain is real.
You can acknowledge your mistakes without making yourself the reason everything ended. You can accept that you may never understand their choices without letting those unanswered questions define your worth.
Stop asking, “Why did they leave?”
And gently begin asking, “How do I take care of myself now?”
You don't need one more conversation to prove that what you felt mattered.
You don't need their explanation to begin healing.
One day, you'll stop searching the past for answers.
And you'll realize:
Closure wasn't when they finally explained why they left.
Closure was when you stopped waiting for them to—and chose to move forward anyway.

ugh, the unanswered questions were the hardest part for me too. i eventually stopped chasing an explanation from my ex because every new answer just gave me another thing to question.
It is indeed true. I did no contact since breakup. no text at all and I didn’t wanna give him any access to me
i've been there, replaying every conversation and convincing myself there had to be one thing i could've done differently. that kind of self-blame can eat you alive.
I agree with that! we will never make our life in peace if we keep ruminating
It’s hard that I don’t need closure, I need him back.. I need my life back, my routines back, my planned future back 😭
I feel you, dear 😭 everyday I also crying for this
when you catch yourself asking “what did i do wrong?”, what do you wish you could believe about yourself instead?
this is a good question. Maybe I want him to realize that I was worthy 😭 because recently I also told my sister, what did I do wrong? why he’s capable doing that to me?
this is so helpfull. <3
