"when someone i'm uninterested in keeps on texting me and i realize this must be how they felt."
that’s it. the repost that ended it all.
i was the someone he wasn’t interested in, still holding on and still texting. and now i finally understand.
he reposted it. he confessed without even having to say it.
i woke up.
it’s over, love.
i hope you’re happy now.
you’re not going to hear from me again.
congratulations, you just burned our potential. you lost someone that would have loved you through all the shit.
when it comes to how much i respect myself, don't challenge me, i'll burn it all to ground.

i’ve had that moment where one tiny thing finally killed the last bit of hope. honestly, letting myself stop texting was the first time i felt like i was choosing ME again.
when you say you finally woke up, do you think the repost gave you closure, or did it just make the hurt impossible to ignore?
why does it matter though
realizing you were the one holding on while they’d already checked out hurts like hell, especially when you find out through a repost instead of hearing it from them.
when i finally experienced someone I didn't like continuing to text me, it all made sense. Now when someone walks away in my life, I let them and I dont fight for them
I feel you 🫂 the worst feeling is constantly giving attention to a person who didn’t value you
