Just don't act out of impulse. Wait for a moment, breath, ask yourself if this is really worth it? He texts you, you answer and then he ghosts you. Will you feel better after? Would it be worth it? It depends on what he texts you, but always be okay with him reacting differently than you may anticipate
i'd leave it for a bit before answering, especially if my heart is racing. i found that waiting helped me hear what i actually wanted instead of reacting to the notification.
if he does message you, what do you think you'd want from that conversation?
