How do I stop giving him access to me? We just broke no contact and I really tried my best. I was only sending thumbs up when he would message me, but then he sent me a whole paragraph and I’m such a forgiving person. As soon as someone starts being nice to me and tells me the things I want to hear, I start softening again. But it doesn’t change the fact that he cheated multiple times, including with my friend, and was so good at lying to me. He only felt guilty because I found out. I know I’m doing this to myself at this point and I genuinely need help because I don’t know how to stop giving him access to me when part of me still loves him.

i did the exact same thing with my ex after he cheated, i kept softening up every single time he sent a sweet text because my brain was so desperate for him to be the guy i loved. it is so exhausting when your heart keeps betraying what your head already knows.
you have to block his number and socials right now, not as a punishment for him, but as a boundary to protect your own softness. as long as that door is open even a crack, he's going to keep using your good heart against you to make himself feel better about what he did.
Sometimes it's best to not listen to words and look at what their actions are telling you... a person who loves you shouldn't want to purposely do something that they know will hurt you x
are you able to lean on any friends or family right now to hold you accountable when that urge to unblock him creeps back in?
I’ve been through a situation that I honestly didn’t know how to handle. Then someone I barely knew referred me to an expert who helped me understand what I was going through and gave me a different perspective. I’m still grateful I came across that person.
block him from everything he’s coming only because you let him
only believe actions, never the words. once a liar, always a liar. he disrespected you by cheating on you. How can allow access to someone that completely betrayed you? block block block before he gets anymore access
when he messages you don't even open it or look at it and even if it gets to a point block him.
