what happened after you texted them? because this sounds VERY much like someone speaking from experience lol

if they wanted to rebuild things, they would. i kept mistaking temporary loneliness for signs we were meant to get back together and it messed me up for months.
oh I hit him with that one today. I completely get thus
i learned this the hard way 😭 every “i miss you” text gave me like 10 minutes of relief and then DAYS of confusion after. especially when she replied just enough to keep me attached.
but I'm fighting it really hard with everything in me because all I can think of is her beautiful curly hair

hard agree!!! I draft msgs and voice notes in my notes app and set days in my calendar of when to send them. The day comes and I never actually send them, because my brain and nervous system tend to calm down by the time comes around and im like nooooo he doesn't deserve my energy
