I know he uses AI to run his messages through to me. which is fine. he isn't great with words.
I've been using it too, to chat to someone about the break up I guess. What I can't help but notice is that a lot of the advice is targeted towards breaking up. i cant help but wonder if he is getting the same advice. I know it can be very influential
what are all your experiences with it in this context?

i've found ai can be useful, but i never let it make relationship decisions for me. when i started using it to understand MY feelings instead of trying to predict my ex, i felt a lot less anxious.
this might hurt but the way i think of it is the same as the phrase “if it’s an i don’t know, it’s a no”. if anything he is saying to the AI is an “i don’t know if i want to be with this person” then sure yeah maybe it’s promoting a breakup. but why do you want to be with someone who isn’t sure if they want to be with you?
I know you are right. x
has he actually told you ai is encouraging the breakup, or is it more that you're worried it's reinforcing a decision he had already made
I've just noticed that it is pushing that kind of language when I use it, and when I looked it up, it seems to be a general consensus that AI does promote breaking up. He is generally pretty indecisive and the break up came out of nowhere. so I'm just worried.
AI is an ethical blight tbh. this is your heart and your emotional self, you don’t need a robot to be your logic
i get why you're wondering that. after my breakup i used ai a lot too, and i caught myself taking some of its advice way too seriously because i was desperate for certainty. in the end, it reflected the questions i was asking more than it told me what to do
AI does feel like an echo chamber and literally it doesnt help.
I agree
