I’ve been actively trying to isolate myself from everyone so I can better myself but honestly I think it’s counterintuitive. My healing isn’t linear so there are days where I’m feeling good and can handle everything but there’s no one when I have my bad days. After my ex moved on fast with another guy, I just can’t feel like someone loves me authentically. I feel so unlovable and it hurts. I hate the feeling of loneliness. My mental health sucks when I’m going through the bad days. I won’t go back on what I said in my previous posts and I’m still actively working on myself and trying to be happy for my ex but I genuinely sacrificed so much of myself, my time, my heart and my money just to please her and it hurts to know that was not enough. I’m in a season of isolation and depression so I guess it’s the loneliness making me miss her. I think I’ve done my time with healing and now I’m prolonging the pain. I’m just going to keep looking forward to my birthday, my graduation and my life that’s unknown. If you guys have any advice on the isolation, I would appreciate it.

i shut everyone out because i thought i had to heal alone, then the bad days got SO much louder. the fact that she moved on fast doesn't decide how lovable you are.
i get why you're isolating, i did the same after i gave everything to someone who still left.
when you say your mental health sucks on the bad days, are you talking to anyone about it besides us? i really hope you are, and if those days start feeling too heavy, i hope you'll reach out to someone you trust
I currently have no friends available considering we are all trying to work on ourselves but I do talk to my grandad
I feel the same way. I think being amongst people going through similiar situations is definitely a step in the right direction
hang in there longer and find some new friends to talk with. maybe someone you have something in comob with, or someone who you used to hang out with. you dont have to be alone just because your sad and suffering.
I actually find more healing happens when I spend some good time with someone. isolation makes you ruminate and spiral I find. Being around others means you dont feel alone and you can take your mind off your problems because everyone else has problems too. having plans with someone gives you something to look forward too. its not easy, but its worth it.
not really advice, but I’m about the same number of NC days as you and very much experiencing a bumpy ride. Days where I’m ok, and days where I’m in agony. I think we are still early on the road to recovery, it won’t always be like this we just have to wait out the bad days.
